Agemars since 1950
Founded in 1950, Agemars, besides the head office in Messina handles directly all Sicilian Ports with own staff.
Agemars originally was created as shipping agency and still today is proud to represent many ship companies in the cruise market as for cargoes. The huge and regular exportation of citrus fruit products all over the world, between 50th and 60th, places Messina among the most important commercial ports of the Mediterranean.
It’s just in these years that Agemars, thanks to the prestigious ship companies it represents, assumes a first-rate role in the maritime and marine activity of the town.
Crystal Cruises, Princess Cruises, Hapag LLoyd, NYK Cruises, Holland America, Windstar Cruises, Seabourn Cruise Line are some of the main owners that we are proud and honoured to represent at many Sicilian ports. Also in these last seven years thanks to our great relationship with Aloschi Bros we attend on their behalf Royal Caribbean, Celebrtiy Cruises & Azamara Club Cuises all around Sicilian ports.
Successively, owing to the decrease of the goods trading in the port of Messina, Agemars dedicates its greater attention to the cruise, touristic and congress market, developing every activity linked reaching the present leader position in this field.
Constant development in structural terms and continual evolution in the approach towards the client; investments in technology, human resources quality management; representation and owned offices in main ports of Sicily and Sardinia Islands, and synergy with the most dynamic forces in the shipping world. Such are the growth factors of a Company which has always been able to act in advance on the demands of an increasingly selective market.
Our Managers supported by local port operations manager and our dynamic and experienced staff attend your ships directly throughout the call. We are proud to say that the experience achieved in sixty five years of activity is a rare treasure at complete disposal of our principal.
