A fan day on the beach
Begin with a drive through the main streets of Palermo, along the coast and through Favorita Park. It is said that Ferdinand III of Bourbon, having fled from Naples in 1798 with his wife Marie Caroline, took refuge on the slopes of Mount Pellegrino. He called his estate “Favorita.” . Upon arrival in Mondello gaze at the sandy shores as you stroll along the promenade to the “Charleston.” “Lo Stabilimento Charleston” and the pier which connects it to the mainland are supported entirely by pylons. There, you may relax, enjoy the sun or have a swim. Each guest will have the use of a sun-bed and each family will share an umbrella.
